Description
LThe Church, dedicated to the Immaculate Conception, was built at the beginning of the seventeen-hundreds in a Baroque style, with a single internal nave and a barrel vaulted ceiling, in accordance with the decorative and architectural customs of the time. The side altars are dedicated to the Holy Spirit and to St. Anna, while the main altar is dedicated to the Virgin of the Immaculate Conception. In the chancel there are five paintings dating back to the sixteen-hundreds featuring the main saints that the people of Genola are devoted to: St Vincenzo Ferreri, St Marziano, the Virgin between Saints Lorenzo and Marziano, the nativity of the Virgin Mary and St Michele Arcangelo.
