The Piedmont railway museum is an absolute must for people of all ages. The museum provides exhibits of interest in various sections, inside there is a room with model trains and tracks from various eras while outside there is a turntable (an important record of industrial mechanization) and numerous wagons, locomotives and trains. The museum is run entirely by volunteers who take care of maintaining and restoring the trains. What makes the museum a feather in the cap of Savigliano, home of the tilting train, is the fact that many of the trains and the turntable are in perfect working order and are set in motion on special occasions and visits.
